dillydallypost

So I guess you guys don't like the bangles. What kind of sad, disillusioned world do you live in exactly? I thought that was sure to get people doin' the head sway, shoulder bop, bent right arm up, bent right arm down, bent left arm up, bent left arm down.

I mean... seriously.

So today was supposed to be my day to get 3 assignments done: An overdue lab report that my numbers didn't quite figure into, a 10-hour pain in the gluteus maximus assignment, followed by a 3 hour pain in the left lobe assignment. So last night, I didn't get to sleep till late, trying to punch some reasonable numbers out of my calculator. Unfortunately, it wasn't a magna doodle and nothing magically appeared... or disappeared. So this morning when I got to my tutorial, I felt like I was on a mission. I even parked at the toonie lot real early and took the shuttle bus back to campus. (Oh which reminds me... for all the old UofMers, they now have a shuttle bus that goes to the toonie lot, formerly known as the loonie lot. Isn't that the best thing in the world?!?!?!?!) Anyhow... as I was saying, I was on a mission. Even stuff like my professor greeting me in the tutorial today with, "So you haven't been attending classes lately. I will fail you. I will fail you," in a wonderfully appropriate Arabic accent din't bother me at all!! I just apologized and laughed it off. Then when I went to go visit my quirky T.A. for help with that lab, I couldn't help but force my smile inwards when he finished his explanation with, "Buss. That is all." Then for my other assignment I went to go see my prof that said 'I will fail you I will fail you' but got sidetracked by the professor right next door who invited me in and spoke to me for an hour. Jeez. That wasn't even funny. He was funny, no doubt... he kept on munching on those corn seed thingies, chewing with his mouth open and popping them in quite frequently, 'crunch, crunch, crunch' as he spoke very rumbuctiously about research projects he wants to give me. I felt sorry for him actually; he was exerting so much energy in explaining the various projects to me yet I was like, 'what in the worrllllld is this guy talking about? and why does he chew like that?'

*sigh*

Anyways... oh yes... so I was on a mission right? There goes my one hour. Then I go to UC (main campus area) to warm up my food and go back to the library, or at least that's what I intended on doing. Instead, I met up with a friend and there went the next two hours.

So thennnnn I thought I might as well go get my car and repark before my evening class at 7, and until then keep on working on my stuff. However.. as soon as I got to my car I headed home instead. :P I thought I'd come back for my 7 o' clock class, but when 7 came, I was about to get going when I realized that my class doesn't usually START at 7, it ENDS at 7!! WHat THe!??! And when I realized THAT, I finally understood why some guy asked whether I was skipping class when he saw me leaving. I had nonchalantly replied, "Oh no, I'll probably just repark and come back for it," while thinking, 'Jeez, what a keener, class doesn't start till another 2 hours!'

Aaahh I'm such a doofus. I left 15 minutes before class actually started.

And that was my dilly dally post on my dilly dally day.
