Countdown

So like I'm so excited. Number one, nusraat's gone. and Number two, (hahaha just kidding about one), grad photos are coming up! Yeah, I know, it's not a big deal at all, but it means i'm THIS much closer to graduating. *sigh* Alhamdullilah. I'm very excited. In fact, I've already planned out who I want to take to my grad dinner. doo doo doo doo dooo and what else have I already planned? WEll... I've already booked my escape trip for 'reading week', I've kinda started to distribute my resumes (which is like super late already but oh well inshaAllah it'll still get me somewhere), and just the other day I caught myself looking at those frames in SuperValue as I was passing by that hold degrees. hahahahahhaha. How ridiculous! I actually had to avert my eyes and look at the multiphoto frames. :P Oh, and speaking of which, I've started scrapbooking!! I've been wanting to start one for hamza ever since he was born, and then suddenly (well not so suddenly, at least nine months), Ibraheem came along and then I was like, "Whoa, I should really get started!" So I've been collecting all this scrapbooking stuff for them for the past couple of years/months (depending on which kid it is) and now I'm set! WooHOo! Alhamdullilah. And it's kind of expensive you know? I went to this scrapbooking place out by university and the lady there was like, "Do you have a straightcutter?" "No" "Oh you have to have a straightcutter, it's essential to scrapbooking." "Oh and those shape cutters that you are looking at aren't very good. The ones here," (that are $20 more) "are more effective, but you have to buy the mat and the cutter with it as well. And this is just for circular shapes, but there are more shapes available."

Hai Allah! Just kill me already. But anyways, hamza and ibraheem better appreciate their mediocre scrapbooks or else phupho's gonna give em a tickle attack; even if they're 20 by that time. There's this threat I like to carry out with hamza these days... it's very effective... in getting him to giggle, not listen, cuz he doesn't listen anyways. It's called the tickle fingers, and if he doesn't do something I want him to, like.... give me a hug and bhosa... every five minutes, you threaten him with the tickle fingers and all you have to do is raise your two index fingers in the air and wave em around and yell, 'Tickle Fingerrrrs!' and then he squeals and runs away.

:) Very effective I tell you.

ANyhow, what was I talking about? I have no idea. I'm sitting here listening to classical hindi songs and typing away, although I really was supposed to be doing something else on this computer. But I got distracted cuz I just went and booked my grad picture appointment! Sorry. (That was more of an apology to myself than you, but maybe you too for listening to me ramble). Anyhow, I'm going now. I have a class to attend, which I don't really like much but I do at the same time, because remember... it's getting me THIS much closer to graduating.

hehehe assalamualaikum.
