Have a Ponderful New Year!
I was never one to make new year's resolutions. In fact, I only recently began to understand that celebrating New Year's is a non-denominational holiday, and so whenever people talked about New Year's I was just like, 'uhunh'. In the same respect, I only realized we could celebrate Thanksgiving two years ago when my friend Muriel was like, "It's not a Christian holiday you know." hehehehe yeahhhh yeahhh so I'm a turkey, but don't laugh!
Anyhow! Back to resolutions. Since I'm the type of person that makes resolutions practically every day, (you know... like regularly clean my room... regularly study... regulate my regularlies. You know.) making New Year's resolutions doesn't make any difference. But there are a lot of things I need to accomplish this year so here goes. ANd you guys have to list yours too if it's not too personal. I'm not listing my personal ones either. Well...... maybe they are. Maybe I shouldn't list them. Ok I will, but I'll keep em vague.
1) Wake up for Fajr. Regularly.
2) Brush my teeth. Regularly. (jk, i realize that's kind of a nasty image isn't it)
3) Graduate. Once.
4) Exercise. Regularly.
5) Make my family happy. Regularly.
6) Study. More.
7) Dilly Dally. Less.
8) Remove time wasting activities such as chatting and... staring into space
9) Read more often and.... yes you guessed it, Regularly.
10) Find a job inshaAllah.
11) Keep focused and always remember to stop thinking about what you have to do and just do it. Be really involved in what I'm in and keep all activities to a minimum in order to accomplish that. Give everything my 100%.
12) Enjoy this time that I have with family, friends, last semester of school, even get to know professors. Don't take this time for granted!!!!
13) And again, waste less time, cuz we all know... time keeps on ticking, ticking, ticking, into the future.
14) Be less cheesy.
