Day 1: Interesting, But Dead Tired
So like I'm in toronto. All on my own. And it's weird. The whole day was spent running around on buses and the TTC. Which I call the CTA. And whenever I call it the CTA, I quickly say, 'Oh no I mean the subway, or the train thingies, or the metro, or the TTC! Or WHATEVER!' See that would be normal if I just said it once, but I say it like everytime.
"So how did you get here?"
"Well I first took the cta, i mean the metro, i mean the subway, or the ttc!! or whatever!"
"So do you think you know how to get there now?"
"Yah I'll take the cta down to.. oh i mean the subway thingie, I mean the metro, or the train, or ttc, or whatever!"
:P
Right now i'm in my one nighter hotel using the computer real quickly down in the lobby. The front desk person must think I'm a bum off the street cuz I came in and went straight here. So I still have my full travel gear on: backpack, poofy jacket, toque. My room is soooooo nice. Alhamdullilah. It's probably like every other hotel actually but because it's ALLLL MINE, it's cool. The desk would be perfect for studying on actually... for which I brought my books. But... you know...
Tomorrow inshaAllah, kiran will join me in the 'GYM' muahaha and then we're headed straight to where it's at. But the universal studios building/headquarters/idunnowhatitis is right beside my hotel... I say I skip all other job options and sign up to be a sound engineer. nehehe. That would be great.
Side note: I saw a guy pick his nose on the subway today.
